In our continuous efforts to ensure the highest security standards and offer an enhanced user experience, we are making important changes to the Smart-ID service. Starting from January 2025, we will no longer support Smart-ID app versions older than 27.1.

As of November 2024, we began the rollout of Smart-ID app version 27.1. While the app will automatically update for the majority of our users, some may need to manually initiate this process.

Key Dates

• November 2024: Start of Smart-ID version 27.1 rollout
• December 2024: Reminding users with older versions to update the app. Account registration for older apps versions will be restricted.
• By latest December 31, 2024, any outdated Smart-ID apps will have its usage blocked until user updates their app.

To be compatible with the new version of the app, devices must be operating at least on Android 6 or iOS 13. Users who are unable to update their operating systems, are recommended to upgrade their devices to continue utilizing Smart-ID securely.
